Overview
The presentation will cover the conventional and renewable energy resources of Oman with a specific reference to climate change.
About the speaker:
Mr. Tariq Umar started his professional career in 2004 after completing a higher Diploma in Civil Engineering as Assistant Engineer in a Municipal organization. Meanwhile he completed a Bachelor Degree (Civil Engineering) in 2008 and in 2009 he completed a Master degree in Civil Engineering from the University of East London (UK). Currently working as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering at A’Sharqiyah University. Tariq is currently enrolled as PhD student at School of Architecture and Built Environment, London South Bank University. He is a graduate member of ICE since 2010
